Check before you rely on it
The listings come from India Post's open data and are shown for general information. PIN codes, post office details and locations change, and the published data can contain mistakes. Before you rely on a PIN code, post office or DIGIPIN for anything important, such as an official form, a delivery or a legal document, check it with India Post.
A post office's DIGIPIN points to the post office, not to your home. Use the converter at your own door to get your home's DIGIPIN. Locations marked "approximate" are estimates and have no DIGIPIN.
Not for emergencies
Don't use the site to direct emergency services. In an emergency, call 112.
Accuracy
We check the data before it goes live and drop locations we can't trust, but we can't guarantee that every listing, location or code is complete, current or free of errors. If you spot a mistake, please let us know through our contact page so we can fix it.
Content and intellectual property
The post office data is India Post's, published as open government data. DIGIPIN is a system created by India Post. The site's own text, code, design and branding belong to digipin.gen.in. You may link to any page and share DIGIPINs you find here. Please don't copy or republish substantial parts of the site, or scrape it, without permission.
Acceptable use
Please don't use the site in a way that disrupts it or its visitors. That includes attempting to break its security, overloading it with automated requests, or using it for anything unlawful.
Advertising and links to other sites
The site shows ads and links to other websites. We don't control those ads or websites and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices. Our privacy policy explains how advertising works on the site.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.
